[yourNEWS.com] The U.S. Department of Education has launched EndDEI.Ed.Gov, a public portal designed to combat Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies in federally funded K-12 schools. The initiative provides parents, students, and educators with a secure platform to report instances of race- or sex-based discrimination, marking a significant step in the Trump administration’s broader effort to dismantle DEI programs nationwide.
According to the department’s press release, the portal allows users to submit details regarding discriminatory practices in their schools. “The secure portal allows parents to provide an email address, the name of the student’s school or school district, and details of the concerning practices,” the statement reads. “The Department of Education will use submissions as a guide to identify potential areas for investigation.”
The launch of the portal follows the administration’s directive last month, which ordered all federally funded educational institutions to dismantle DEI programs within 14 days or risk losing access to federal funding. The department’s directive reaffirmed the legal precedent against race-based policies, stating, “The law is clear: treating students differently on the basis of race to achieve nebulous goals such as diversity, racial balancing, social justice, or equity is illegal under controlling Supreme Court precedent.”
