Hi Ariana, I have noticed down here in Australia that this normally occurs when the ice machine at the airport is running low There is only enough ice crystals to create ‘lingering contrails’ for one engine.
I would’ve thought with all knowledge and intelligence combined with your tinfoil hat, you would’ve been all over that! ;).
