I can't understand a) why America needs so many "data Centers" b) why the "data centers" are requiring so much electricity and c) why they require so much water. Can anyone help me here?

a) Data centers are allowing the US to compete in the international AI arms race. b) AI burns huge amounts of electricity because they run on specialized GPUs that perform BILLIONS of calculations EVERY SECOND, 24/7.

c) The significant energy used produces extreme levels of heat, which can fry the entire system if not kept at bay. Water is used to keep the data centers cool, so they can stay operational. Nuclear reactors require water for this purpose as well; when their water levels get low, the plant will meltdown. Basically it works like this: Water is pumped through pipes near the servers in order to absorb heat (water absorbs heat thousands of times more efficiently than air). The warm water then returns to a cooling tower, where *MOST* of it gets evaporated (1-5million-ish gallons a day) and remaining amounts are redistributed back through the center.

As you can see… these centers need an ungodly amount of water to stay operational. From a weather perspective… I can see these centers being major purchasers of ‘trails.’ As it is we have loads of utilities companies using tax dollars to fund seeding operations to bring more water to their energy producing dams. I can't imagine what will be required when we quadruple our energy necessity with these centers.

Thank you for that helpful info. Yes indeed! Chem trails are now "cooling the earth" and with all this AI heat generation there surely will be a greater demand for more cooling. According to "sources" there are currently about 5400 AI data centers in the US with over 500 know projects coming down the pike. AND the US currently has about 51% of the worlds AI centers. Much AI is consumed by cloud stuff. So you got to read between the lines here. We already know this is for our own good. Nothing is ever what they tell us it is. I think what's up here is these data centers especially relating to cloud is mainly for surveillance. Each text, phone conversation, email, blog, podcast, conversation in your house, conversation with your DR., lawyer, shrink, satellite pictures of our moving about, gps info... EVERYTHING all of this data collected is to be stored in these robot factories. Nothing will be private.

But hey, I'm a known conspiracy theorist so...

But wait! So these people are good at weather generation so why can't they do like mother earth does and create a water cycle whereby all evaporated water gets returned to earth's surface or in the case of AI returned to the cooling systems? I mean there is no excuse to lose any water, the metals and other trash in city and river water that is less volatile than water could be left over and discarded but after a couple of months they should have nothing but 100% clean distilled water. Which they should be able to recycle forever. Or am I being stupid again?

Well thats what the cloud seeding is for. Cloud seeding causes moisture in the air to drop. So these areas are going to want lots of cloud seeding. They will likely have rain capture systems in place.

Here's a true to life example. A car engine burns very hot as such it needs help cooling. Thus the water in the radiator. Anti-freeze is only to deprress the freezing temperature from 32 F down to about -30F. Notice how we don't have to always put new water in to cool the engine. It recycles that same water for months or years.

See how I'm saying this ain't all adding up.

The reason windmills failed was because they froze and would turn in the freezing weather, this is why I'm against wind and solar power. They are also ugly

Coal fired electric plants ain't exactly pretty, especially if one considers the entire process from mining coal to burning it, to the worst aspect, which is kept very much under wraps...disposal or more accurately, non-disposal of the coal ash.

In a nutshell coal fired electric plants are almost always located beside a river due to the huge amounts of water required to turn turbines in electricity production. All of that burnt coal generated tremendous amounts of coal ash, or the nicer term is fly ash. The ash is almost always dumped on the electric plant's property nearby. Coal ash is nasty stuff. An environmental nightmare as it has virtually every element on the periodic table in it. Trace elements such as mercury, lead and arsenic. Minor components are magnesium, Sulphur, sodium, potassium and carbon. Major components silica, alumina, iron oxide. and calcium oxide. Then when it rains the soup containing all of this "stuff" from the ash dump oozes into the nearby river ultimately making its way into the oceans. Add these trace elements (and there are many not just whats mentioned here) in this soup over sever decades or centuries. IMHO this is how all fish on the planet came to have mercury.
